We can also provide these skills to people who are having difficulty readjusting
after a long term illness and who now also need to cope with a disability or to
ex-offenders who may just need a boost in confidence or social interaction to adapt
themselves within the community.
Care packages and individual care plans can be designed to meet the clients needs and requirements.
By utilising our established day care facilities we can provide training in Pottery, Art and Craft,
Gardening, Flower Arranging and Information Technology.
Training and guidance can also be provided in independent living skills such as budgeting,
banking, cleaning and cooking.
Choice Care Community Support Carers can provide support for the individual
to build up confidence and self esteem to move forward and live in the community
and to also provide ongoing support until it is assessed and agreed by all concerned
that the individual is able to support themselves.
A Choice Care Services Work Experience Placement Officer would also after assessing
the clients needs, liase with companies and employers within the area to implement
a form of work experience suitable to the client.
Choice Care Services can provide living skills training for people who are finding
it difficult to cope with the problems and stresses associated with everyday life.
